Middle East Traders Concludes its Youth City 2030 Participation with Porcelain-Tiled Furniture Pieces Installed by the Participating Bahraini Youth in Cooperation with Exa Company a leading surfaces solution manufacturer
Middle East Traders, the trusted source for hard and soft flooring, sanitary ware, ceramic & porcelain tiles, wall covering, and building materials, in collaboration with Exa Company from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has recently concluded its participation in the 13th edition of Youth City 2030, held under the esteemed patronage of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Affairs and Youth Affairs, and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports.
The Middle East Traders participation, which took place at the Exhibition World Bahrain, included theoretical and hands-on training sessions, with the aim of equipping the participating Bahraini Youth with the essential knowledge and craftsmanship skills on Porcelain flooring types and installation methods. A total of 20 participant, completed the installation process of Porcelain tiles on a number of furniture pieces, to be later donated to a charitable organization in the Kingdom of Bahrain. This initiative reflects Middle East Trader’s commitment toward developing and nurturing the knowledge of the Bahraini youth, in addition to Middle East Traders’ keenness to actively participate in corporate social responsibility initiatives.
On this occasion, Mr. Salman Alkhan, the Business Development Manager commented: “Middle East Traders has recently adopted a strategy aimed at contributing to corporate social responsibility and community engagement, through a series of initiatives, the latest of which was participating in the Youth City 2030, with the aim of empowering Bahraini youth and nurturing young Bahraini talents in a practical and interactive environment. The participating youth completed the installation process of porcelain tiled furniture on a number of furniture pieces, to be later donated to a local charitable organization.”
“We do not only aim to equip the youth with the essential craftsmanship skills, but to also foster a sense of purpose as they contribute to a meaningful cause.” Mr. Alkhan added.
Mr. Omer Hindawi, the Marketing Manager at Exa Company, expressed this participation by saying: “We must focus on youth energies and work closely with them to bridge the gap between the academic and practical stages. This can be achieved through participating in such events and forums and integrating with ambitious, energetic youth.
